We Enable Climbers
We are experts in the field of climbing. We supply industrial climbers, sport climbers, and alpinists with high-quality equipment, and offer a wide range of products for outdoor companies. In addition, we provide various training courses focused on safe working practices and rescue techniques at height. Inspecting equipment has also become one of our key specialties. Our goal is to be — and remain — market leader in our field. Our company continues to grow thanks to our specialist knowledge, positive mindset, customer focus, strong online presence, and teamwork.

How we work
What began in an attic room has grown into an international organisation with five branches in two countries. We owe our growth to the sum of small successes. If you perform a little better every day, you will ultimately make great strides.
History
The start
In January 2006, Ward Luitjes founded OutdoorPro a company that supplies outdoor businesses with a wide range of equipment. He was soon joined by several interns and the first employee. In 2008, the team moved into a small office building in Breda, with its own storage space and showroom.
By 2011, the company had grown into a small team of full-time employees. The team noticed that there was a great demand for fall protection equipment. This led to the founding of SafetyPro.
Safety first
From this moment onwards, the company does not only sell high-quality equipment but also provides PPE-inspection services. Whether it’s an annual check or an inspection after intensive use, our certified inspectors ensure that equipment meets the highest safety standards.
The first take-over
In 2015, SafetyPro and OutdoorPro moved into a new building in Oosterhout. In 2017 the first company aquisition took place: Klimwinkel was added as an online store. Klimwinkel supplies gear to individual sport climbers and alpinists.

We Enable Climbers
The company is growing and the warehouse is filling up in no time. The team is also expanding continuously. In 2021, we process more than 30,000 orders. We are the largest dealer of brands such as Petzl in the Benelux. At this point, the company consisted of two business units: Pro (SafetyPro) and Sport (OutdoorPro and Klimwinkel). Together, we form We Enable Climbers.
Growth
Since 2021, we have been the main supplier of equipment for work at height to the Dutch Ministry of Defence. In 2021, the training centre for working at height in Amersfoort was added to the company. With a team of 40 full-time employees, we continue to build our labels.
New location in Breda
In 2024 we moved to a new building in Breda, the Netherlands.
Crossing the border
We Enable Climbers keeps expanding. In 2024 the new label Elevate-Europe was introduced, distributing climbing gear all over Europe. In 2024 we also joined forces with Michel Binst (owner of K2 Profshop in Belgium).
Industrieel Klimmen
We are happy to announce our next step: Industrieel Klimmen becomes part of SafetyPro! The acquisition was signed in October 2025. We Enable Climbers now has 5 locations and over 50 employees!
The European course
In November 2025, it was time for the next step. SafetyPro and K2 Profshop made their debut at the A+A trade fair in Düsseldorfthe leading trade fair in the field of safety, work, health protection and prevention. A fantastic milestone and the perfect opportunity to further explore the European market and broaden our horizons.

Sum of small steps
Our success is the sum of small successes and a positive mindset. If you perform a little better every day, you will eventually make great strides. Focus on the things that are going well. Don't dwell on things that aren't going well, but move on and do your best. We have one meeting per team every week and a monthly meeting with the entire We Enable Climbers club. We always start the team meeting with good news. Everyone shares something they are happy or proud of. There is always good news.

We put a lot of effort in our websites to mainain our #1 online position. We focus on functionality, design and online marketing. Our webhost Forcez is a big support in this matter.
Knowledge
We possess extensive technical knowledge of our products. In addition, we can always rely on the expertise of our trainers and ambassadors. We’re committed to sharing that knowledge, and when you reach out to us with a question, you can expect a prompt and thorough response.
